NYU London

Welcome to London!

Hello everyone! My name is Ji Eun Hong and I am a current sophomore studying Business and Political Economy. As part of our program, I am currently studying in London and will be flying out to Shanghai next semester.

I am living in Urbanest, which is one of the upperclassmen NYU dorms on the London campus. It is the furthest from campus (about a 20 minutes bus ride) but every room is a single. The area around Urbanest is very safe and has a grocery market right across the street. The other housing options are Byron Court and Guilford House. Both are for upperclassmen and all freshmen reside in Byron Court.

NYU London provides a multitude of tourist trips, from visiting the Buckingham Palace to going to a Man City football game. Each NYU London student can sign up to three of these events; I have gone on a day trip to the English Countryside of the Cotswolds, toured inside the Buckingham Palace, and went to the Man City football game.

This is just the beginning of my journey in London, but I hope to explore more sites and share my adventures with you all! We will also post every week from a different NYU study abroad site, so be sure to check in regularly!
